Workflow
The extensive workflow system offers many possibilities to adapt Password Safe to the requirements of the company. The workflow system provides events which can be combined with actions. So for example an e-mail can be sent to a responsible person if a password is viewed or edited in a certain folder. In combination with the new task service (Enterprise server) also tasks which are controlled by the server for example a SMTP-Mail or an automatic creation of an encrypted HTML Webviewer file is possible.
Workflow configuration
In the workflow configuration dialogue all events and actions will be displayed. The actions can simply be assigned to the events per Drag&Drop. If an event is activated by a user later, the assigned action comes into effect and will be carried out.
The workflow system is a paid add-on module and is only available in combination with the Enterprise Edition and the Enterprise Server.
