Password entry (SSO)
One of the most outstanding functions is our SSO engine (SSO = Single Sign On). Data can be entered automatically into other applications, for example Internet Explorer, easily and in a safe way. The capture of browser forms and the entry into Windows applications is quickly and visually configured and can therefore be logically managed. Through individual and adaptable entry masks, required fields can optionally be made available and allocated for automatic entry. With the use of AddOns Password Safe supports all established browsers, like Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera and Safari. If a new login is identified, it can be saved directly into Password Safe and automatically manage the next login.
NEW: Native browser integration for IE9
On every system the Internet Explorer is pre-installed and therefore always available. Password Safe supports all IE versions (from IE7 on) locally and without installation of an AddOn. Therefore web forms can be filled in without installation and admin rights and the login can be automated. The new IE9 is also supported. That also makes rolling out in companies easier, because administrator rights are not required.
NEW: Browser AddOn's
Password Safe supports all common browser, too. With the browser AddOn`s we also support Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Opera. Therefore all 5 main browsers are supported and the best thing is that you only have to record an entry once to use it with every browser afterwards.
NEW: Visual capture of applications and websites
With the visual capture and allocation of fields the setup for a new application is very easy. Just match the fields in the login mask per Drag&Drop (or use the auto match button).
NEW: Automatic analysis of websites
There are websites which are either badly programmed or which are newly generated every time for safety reasons, for example with random values for boxes. The new analysis for websites recognizes this and automatically allocates the right fill engine. Furthermore normally the right appropriate fields are allocated, like for example user name and password, as well as the button for the login.
NEW: Automatic allocation of already existing passwords
Password Safe is intelligent and automatically matches new application to already existing passwords. Therefore redundancies are avoided and you can easily keep an overview of the collected passwords.
