HTML WebViewer

Carry your data with you on iPhone, iPad or Android mobile.

The WebViewer enables the export of your passwords to a safely encrypted HTML file. Put the file on a FTP server or use the free service „Dropbox“ in order to be able to access the current data at any time. Also an automatic export at the program end can be configured.

When the WebViewer is opend it is similar to a native app. Just enter your password and the data will be decrypted. Then you can search for records via the search field. By touching a protected field it will be displayed for 10 seconds. The WebViewer is compatible with iPhone, iPad, Android and all up-to-date mobile phones with a Webkit browser, as well as all desktop browsers like Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Opera. For example if you have a Webspace or something similar you can also access your data from every PC, regardless if you use Linux, Mac OS or Windows.

Login

The data is encrypted with the login password and AES 256 Bit. As soon as you enter the password the data will be decrypted and are available for the search.

After the login a full-text search can be carried out via the search field.

Also in the WebViewer safety is very important, and therefore there is also an automatic timer which locks the safe again after 60 seconds of not being active and then a new login is required.

Record cards

After you have found a record via the search they will be displayed in so-called cards on below. Sensitive data, like passwords are hidden and can be shown with a finger tip.

The cards are built up dynamically and contain all data which are also contained on the Password Safe desktop client in the form.
