    The keyboard shortcuts for the insertion of form data and scripts are used to transfer the password, user name or any chosen field into other applications with a keyboard shortcut.
  • Labels
    Use colour markings to categorize records so that you can better distinguish them. Group the records that have been assigned to a label.
  • Tags
    Assign tags to records so that you can further categorize them and find them more easily.
  • Task
    Organize the expiry date of passwords through automatically created tasks. You will be automatically reminded when a password expires or other important events occur.
  • Messages
    The system will automatically send you messages on certain events (e.g. seal violation). Use messages for secure communication within your company. The messages never leave the database and are thus always encrypted and cannot be viewed by others
  • Document management
    Protect your most important documents with Password Safe. You can load any files or documents into the database. These then no longer need to be present on your hard disk. Open and edit documents directly from within Password Safe. Associate remote desktop connections or remote maintenance software with passwords and pass parameters when launching them.

    You always have an overview of the past through the new history log. See how a record or a password has changed over time. Restore records that have inadvertently been overwritten. Compare different versions with one another.
  • Logbook
    Nothing goes unnoticed with Password Safe. Log practically every action (view, edit, delete, etc.). See which users have logged themselves on when and what actions they have performed in Password Safe. Analyse the actions using the comprehensive analysis tool or analyse the data in Excel.
  • Own icons
    There are already numerous standard icons available. If these are not sufficient, then simply load your own icons into the database and use these in folders and records In this way you can further customize the database and highlight particular records.
  • Own fields
    Customize your records with your own fields. If a record does not have a field you need you can simply and quickly add it. Various field types (e.g. protected password field, or notes field) are available. Create your own fields through the folder and benefit from the fact that the fields will then already be available when a new record is created.
  • Integrated Terminal Service/Remote Desktop Client (MSTSC)
    You can manage and access via RDP or Terminal Server Client any remote computer through Set up Remote Desktop Connection. This allows you to manage hundreds of servers and to set up a connection with a single click.
  • USB stick-capable
    The application can be set up on a conventional USB stick with your database so that you always have your data with you. A U3 Stick version is also available.
  • Network capable
    In the Professional Edition and higher the software is both network capable and multiuser capable. Comprehensive network functions, such as automatic record locking, are available. In the Enterprise Edition and higher you even have the option of an encrypted client/server connection through the new Enterprise Server.
  • Users, groups and rights management
    Organize your password database into user groups Assign rights at user or group level Rights, e.g. read, edit or delete, can be assigned to folders and practically any records. From the Enterprise Edition you can import existing users and groups via the Active Directory.
  • Seal
    The new, enhanced seal system now also offers the four-eyes principle. Seal your passwords and specify who may activate and break these. The persons concerned are informed automatically via the tasks and messaging system.
  • Lock
    Lock passwords against access by other users. Even if you have locked a password, you can make it available to specific persons for automatic password entry. In this way, although the users have no access to the password, they can log in to applications or Internet portals automatically, without knowing the password.
  • Active Directory Integration
    Existing users and groups can be imported from the Active Directory in the Enterprise Edition  Automated authentication of the user is also possible.
  • Client/Server
    You can establish a client/server architecture with the Enterprise Server. Use the optimum speed so that it is also possible to use WAN or VPN connections and thus simply connect in home office or outlying offices.
