The Standard Edition of Password Safe and Repository is the professional and user-friendly solution for the management of your data (passwords), TAN blocks and documents. The user interface design is inspired by Outlook 2007 and so offers an excellent overview and usability. Any number of databases can be opened simultaneously and it is possible to change between them on the fly. In addition, various folders can be opened in tables and it is also possible to change quickly between these. Furthermore, you are able to create your own forms or edit those provided. Your data is protected by the 12 latest open source encryption algorithms. This include, naturally, the well-known, extremely secure 256-bit AES standard (Rijandel). The password you use to encrypt the database is also converted by hash functions to the maximum key length of the encryption algorithm used. A brute force attack on the database file is therefore no longer possible.

Data (form data) can be automatically entered in applications and web browsers using the newly developed password entry function.

Data never gets lost again ...
The history function has been completely redesigned and now shows all modified form data with colour in the detail area. In addition to this, different versions of data records may be compared with one another and older versions may even be restored. The changes are highlighted in colour to make them easier to see. The restoration of records is naturally entered in the logbook.

Quickly find what you need ...
The newly developed Quick Access function offers a completely new search experience. fast – practical – uncomplicated. You can fill a target field, such as a login field, easily using Drag & Drop. To make sure that you do not have to spend long searching yourself, Quick Access automatically selects linked records so that you can access the data directly if, for example, you: call a linked web page. Lengthy searching belongs in the past. The Quick Access has been developed for multi-monitor systems so that you can also place Quick Access on another monitor. Quick Access also docks itself to the edge of a monitor.

Search and you will find …
Password Safe includes a number of search options. Thus you can always search through the results of a list using quick search. In addition, Password Safe offers the option of creating what it calls »search folders«. Here Password Safe distinguishes between the »All passwords« search folder and »Favourites«. All records are shown in the »All passwords« search folder. The »Favourites« search folder contains all the records marked as favourites. In this way, every user has access to his personal favourites at all times. The results list can then be easily browsed again using quick search. The hit list searched can also be further restricted with what is known as the drilldown search. Tags that you can store with every password can also help to quickly find specific records or groups of records.

Everything in one database ...
The new document management system (DMS) can open linked documents directly from the Password Safe interface, execute them or even open documents for editing. In addition, you can specify yourself to which directory the documents opened for execution or for editing should be swapped out. You even have the option of selecting a True-Crypt volume as
the swap out location, meaning that your important documents are additionally protected. Depending on the configuration, swapping out to the hard disk also only represents a minor security risk, as the documents can be deleted using the Gutmann method so that no data residues remain on the hard disk. Naturally, the document management system detects
if a document has been amended and, as long as you confirm this, writes the amended document status back to the database automatically. The document management system also has a history which you can use to restore previous document versions. The Professional Edition and higher have integrated rights management so that you can easily assign rights to documents to users or groups. It is also possible to embed applications directly so that they can be started with a click directly from Password Safe (including parameter passing). Further, a script or batch file may be executed before the application or document is launched and after it is closed. Password Safe can thus be flexibly adapted to your workflows.

The Standard Edition also contains all the features of the Personal Edition.
