This document describes the configuration of the Active Directory connection after an update to the version 6.3. From this version on Password Safe is multi domain compatible. That means you can import users and groups from several domains. Furthermore the Active Directory connection has been improved, that brings about that you have to pay attention to some issues at the update.

Notes on upgrading from v5 to v6
Remember that you have to create an PSX export / backup before upgrading. You can install version 6 parallel to a different directory and please uninstall version 5 only if you have upgraded successfully to Version 6. Create a new database with version 6 and import the PSX Backup in the Database Wizard (one of the latest steps). All your data will be restored in a new version 6 database.
