MATESO GmbH has been developing and distributing software for password and identity management for over 10 years and has established itself in the German-speaking markets with over 2 mio. installations. Several million customers worldwide use our software products.

The company was initially established under the name MAFIS Systems in 1998 and in 2005 was renamed MAFIS Software. In December 2007, MAFIS Software rebranded as MATESO GmbH, registered and protected the MATESO trademark. The company has been established in Gersthofen, near to Augsburg, since June 2009.
