The Enterprise Edition in combination with the Enterprise Server provides the best solution for centralised password management in your company. In the Enterprise Edition, you have the option of running Password Safe in client/server mode. Of course, the TCP/IP communications in the network are encrypted so that no-one can read the data as it passes between client and server (using a network sniffer, for example). The Enterprise Edition can be used without Enterprise Server in the Professional database mode (via network share), however, only 20 users at most can work at the same time (without Enterprise Server, if you should have any questions, please contact our sales team). For every user/computer a license of the Enterprise edition (client) is required (see licensing).

Import users and groups from the Active Directory ...
You can import your existing structures from the Active Directory for the purposes of rights management in Password Safe. Authentication is also optionally possible so that you can save yourself the manual user login to Password Safe.

The Enterprise Edition also contains all the features of the Personal Edition, Standard Edition and Professional Edition.
